- I am a Doctorate prepared licensed physical therapist with 40+ years of experience.
About Me
I initially received my BS in PT from Ithaca college in 1982, an Advanced Masters in 2000, and a Doctorate in 2005 from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions. I specialize in Orthopedic Physical Therapy. I am an assistant professor at Nova Southeastern University with experience in providing distance online instruction and have developed webinar presentations for various orthopedic dysfunctions as a speaker for several national CEU providers. As a professor in the Health Science department for Nova Southeastern University I provide instruction in Anatomy, Biomechanics, Kinesiology, and neuroanatomy. I have worked with many students in person and in group sessions to help them find ways to become more proficient in their learning and understanding of these difficult subjects. I am also a strong proponent of improving test taking strategies for students.
Hobbies & Interests
My interests and hobbies are diverse. I enjoy outdoor activities of skiing, hunting, land management, and own a 50 acre farm growing Christmas tree, hops, grapes, and hay. I Airbnb the farmhouse and also enjoy visiting local wineries. I own a Harley, enjoy riding, and attending events, I have a restored 1955 Chevy. I also play rhythm, acoustic and bass guitar.
