I am fun and love to make learning fun for all students. My strengths at the secondary level are in Math and Social Studies, however I taught 5th and 6th grade for 10 years before moving on to the secondary level. I am very reputable and dependable. I've been tutoring 7th grader and a 9th grader in English Language Arts for about 3 years on VT. I accel at teaching how to understand text and am skillfull at breaking it down to the students' level. I also have experience teaching chess and have participated in one tournament. If you're an advanced chess player, I'm probably not the best fit for you. I'm experienced at teaching openings and some middle game formations.
