About Me
I recently graduated from Yale University with my PhD in Biological and Biomedical Sciences, and I am a current Postdoctoral Associate at the Broad Institute of Harvard and MIT. Prior to attending graduate school at Yale, I received my BA at Wellesley College majoring in Biological Sciences and minoring in Economics. Attending a Liberal Arts College for my undergraduate degree has also given me valuable expertise in writing, public speaking, and the arts. I have taught my own review section for a high-level Cellular Biology course in which I reviewed complex material to help students better understand difficult topics in the class. I have also served as a Teaching Fellow for a graduate-level cancer biology course running my own recitation sections. I always make sure to understand each student's learning style so that I can best work with them to tackle difficult class material. I also like to bring real-world examples into the classroom.
