This is what I was born to do. I am in love with the English language, and I want to share that love with others. I graduated from Columbia University in 2013 and decided in my senior year that I wanted to become a teacher, so I joined Teach for America. Eight years and a Master's in Education later, I am still teaching in the South Bronx as a Middle School ELA Teacher. I have also taught ELA to elementary and high school level students. Reading and writing is hard, especially if you don't enjoy it. But you don't have to love it to do i well. Let's start there, and I guarantee we will find the love along the way!
