I have always had a niche for ensuring those around me could understand what I understood even if that meant looking at everything from a different angle. My primary tutoring experiences have been with peers in some of my more difficult classes or more frequently helping my nephews/nieces with homework ensuring they can perform well on exams after I assist them. My best-tutored subjects are Elementary and Middle school math as I tend to take an approach that involves re-analyzing the problem and ensuring the foundation is there before re-attacking the problem. I also have passed my first board exam in medical school, Step 1 and offer tutoring services for that as well. As a side note, I do have a certification in Youth Mental Health First Aid that included training on how to deal with related issues that may arise.
