I have worked as a librarian for the past 6 years. I specialize in worthing with kids who have learning disabilities and reluctant readers. Previous to becoming a librarian I gave private art lessons and did art parties for children for a number of years. I enjoy working with people and helping them find their inner creativity. It's about the love of art, then the skills will get there. I am always learning new things. For me it is so important for kids to learn how to LOVE reading rather than focus on what they are reading.

I love to travel around the world. I have been to Japan, Cuba, Ireland, Portugal, Iceland, Mexico, England, Germany and Switzerland. I have 3 dogs and foster dogs through my local humane society. I love to read and average 100 books a year. I also enjoy arts and crafts and creating things.
