Hello All! My main approach through teaching is genuine connection. Through authentic relationship building, I am able to meet you half way and beyond to make sure your academic needs are being met. My journey to becoming a New York teacher/tutor was not linear and I have life experience to offer outside of the classroom that I would be more than willing to share. I understand the complex needs of students and aim to ensure that all of my students are provided with a rigorous and engaging tutor session. My specialties include grammar and syntax, reading comprehension, essay writing, short response questions, finding the main idea, breaking down texts, analysis of text, and any ELA or reading needs.
