I also have some graduate credits focusing on English as a Second Language, and have my English as a Second Language Endorsement. I have taught numerous grade levels, K-5, and have taught in two dual language schools. My expertise is teaching students fundamental reading skills and math in a fun and engaging way. I have seen my students improve in both reading and math up to two or more grade levels in just one year! In my 20 plus years in education, I have learned teaching is not just about math or reading but about creating a love of learning. My enthusiasm for learning is contagious! I love seeing the "light-bulb" come on when my students learn something new. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family, playing fetch with my dog, doing anything outdoors, and watching football.

I love gardening, spending time with my 3 grandchildren, going to sporting events, and concerts.
