  • Learning should be an exciting joyful experience.
  • If we start with what we know and seek new knowledge that connects from there, learning will be easy.

About Me

The average person needs 10 times to master any new knowledge. It is totally normal to forget and need to review previous knowledge. Each time we relearn material it is easier and is more likely to be permanent. Vygotsy's theory of the "zone of proximal development" or ZPD states that a person will learn best within the range of their current development. If it's boring, it is to low. If it is confusing, it is to high. Adjusting materials (scaffolding) or providing support are two ways to provide optimal learning. See you online.
