As a teacher with 14 years of experience, I am excited about the opportunity to apply my skills and experience and passion for teaching with 'Varsity Tutors.'In addition to my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary, I also have six years of experience teaching in the field of Special Education - per my Masters Degree. What I learned through these experiences was that to get my students to remember that 'one size, certainly, DOES NOT fit ALL.' Each student has their own learning style and that is another reason why I enjoy teaching. I implement unorthodox teaching strategies at times to get students excited about the subject matter as well as make it memorable for them. I am passionate about teaching and helping students come to love the act of learning, and I would cherish the opportunity to play a role in your child's education!

I enjoy spending time with my family and my two labs. I have a Son in High School and a Daughter in Junior High School. We enjoy taking our dogs on walks and swimming. I love ALL sports, so try to NOT get me started on those subjects:)
