Hello! I am a Registered Nurse by trade, receiving my first degree, an Associates of Science in Nursing with a concentration in Leadership, in 2007 from the University of North Georgia. I completed my Bachelor's of Science in Nursing through Western Carolina University in 2018. I then completed a Master's in Nursing Education through the University of North Carolina Wilmington in 2020.My area of expertise in Nursing is labor, delivery, postpartum, recovery, and newborn care. I have also served as a patient and nurse educator, navigating patients through the hospital side of their labor and delivery experience, and nurses to train on certain aspects of the job. I am passionate about education and love to help tutor especially in health sciences or test prep areas. I am a firm believer that learning can be fun, and topics are best remembered when they are delivered creatively through as many senses as possible - auditory, visual, hand-on, and experientially, to name a few.

In my spare time, I enjoy getting out into nature. If I could snorkel or scuba every day, I would! I enjoy puzzles and reading when I need some downtime. I am also a mom to 5 energetic kids, and am involved in ministry as a pastor's wife.
