My favorite subjects to tutor, though, are biology and math. Tutoring is very rewarding to me because it is a way I can help increase a child's confidence and belief in their own abilities. One important part I incorporate into my teaching is discussion, which, I believe, encourages a student to explore the inner workings of any concept. This allows them to adapt their thinking to new contexts and all sorts of problems as well. Outside of school, I love to sing and read fantasy books.
