I am currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from Winston-Salem State University. I have 2.5 years of tutoring experience. Most of my experience involves the subject of math (middle and elementary-level math, etc), though I have also tutored students in writing and literacy. Being a visual learner myself, I use the method of demonstration throughout tutoring sessions. It's one thing to hear a concept repeatedly. However, I find that taking a more hands-on approach not only dives deeper into concepts but also keeps students more engaged with the material being taught.

I love reading, knitting, crocheting, and watching TV shows in my spare time. My greatest enjoyments come from spending time with family and watching clients grow throughout their educational journey!
