I have a Bachelor's Degree in Middle School Education and a Master's Degree in K-12 reading. I have 23 years of experience teaching in the public schools. Most of those years were as a Title I teacher and Literacy Specialist for small groups and one-on-one learning. I tutor a variety of subjects but am passionate about reading. I believe once someone learns to read well, then they can learn anything else and a world of possibilities opens up to them!

I love to read. I love to be outdoors, whether it is hiking in the mountains, going to the beach, or paddle boarding on the lake. I also love animals and enjoy riding horses when I get the chance.
