I have over 30 years of experience working professionally as a public school teacher, child care provider, camp counselor, private tutor, and coach. I have a total of 8 years of experience subbing in grades K-5 and have held multiple long-term assignments in kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 5th grades. After returning to college to earn my teaching certificate I taught 2nd grade until transitioning to the role of stay-at-home mom.

I am an avid crafter and enjoy sharing my love for arts and crafts with children. The children in my neighborhood know me as the "fairy garden lady" for the community fairy garden I built in my yard during the covid lockdown, and as the "cotton candy lady" because I make cotton candy for the kids every Halloween. I have a background in synchronized skating and circus arts.
