I had never been taught good study habits. However, I changed my approach to school work and graduated Summa cum Laude from college. As a math tutor, my goal is for my students to not only learn, but to also understand that it is an exercise in reasoning. I want them to come to know that math can, in fact, be fun. As a reading tutor, I want to share practices and tips that enabled me to be successful and to instill a lifelong love of reading in my students. I received a Master of Education degree in August 2022.
