I am a life science teacher at Prairie High School in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. I have been teaching for 25 years (2 in the Chicagoland area and 23 in my native state) and have enjoyed it immensely. I enjoy fitness activities, DIY projects and spending time with my family and our three dogs. I am a mother of three college aged children and have found myself with some available time on my hands and am looking for a rewarding challenge. I am very comfortable working remotely and I would like to reach out and assist other students by supporting their science education. Because of my comfort level with general education as well as special education high school students, I feel that I would be an asset to your tutoring team!

I am interested in fitness and completing DIY projects around the house. I have three kids who are all college aged and I have enjoyed their activities and sports. Two of them play softball in college so I enjoy traveling to be a spectator at their games. I have three dogs which keep us busy and I love to read and watch a variety of series and movies on my down time.
