I am passionate about helping students learn because so many times students are left behind and teachers do not have enough time to close gaps. I currently am an assistant principal of a charter school. I have been a classroom teacher, reading coach and Title 1 Coordinator. I received my bachelors degree from Ball State University, my masters from Walden University and principal's license from Indiana Wesleyan University. Elementary ELA is my passion helping students become confident readers that can evaluate, discuss and explain text is a joy to me. During tutoring sessions, I like to use student interest and discussion to help stamp the learning of the lesson.
