I found this through my experience working at a daycare/learning center. In this position, I worked with a range of children between the age of 3 weeks to 12 years old, caring for them and providing an environment that allowed them to learn and grow. From there, I wanted to expand my experience in the classroom and took a role as a building substitute teacher at an elementary school. Through this, I worked in all elementary grades, teaching a variety of subjects and learned a lot about myself and how important adaptability is. I am excited to see what the future of my educational career holds for me as I plan to go back to school for my Masters in Special Education.

I love adventure: hiking, kayaking, traveling, and just being outside. I love starting my morning with a long walk, and finishing the day with a nice book.
