Hello everyone! I became a VarsityTutor because I feel that teaching is an incredibly enriching experience - I think that seeing the progress of a student over time is so rewarding for me. I have a BS in Neuroscience, a BA in Religious Studies, and an MS in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Pittsburgh, so I have a lot of diverse experience in both STEM and humanities from my educational background. I worked in a math tutoring center in high school and college, and I have teaching experience in math from basics all the way through calculus. I have previously tutored math and reading for the SAT. I have taken calculus at the college level, and for several semesters in college, I served as a TA for general chemistry classes.
