- I'm Robert Glassner and am a middle school math teacher in the northern suburbs of Chicago.
- I am designated as "highly qualified" by the state of Illinois to teach mathematics, science, social sciences, and language arts.
About Me
I received my Bachelor of Arts from Northeastern Illinois University in Middle-Level Education and Elementary Education, with minors in TESL (Teaching English as a Second Language) and Math and Science Concepts. I believe that math is the "language of the universe", and it is imperative that all students can communicate mathematically. I have also tutored in some capacity for the last 15 years and have significant experience working with gifted students, English Learners, and remote instruction.
Hobbies & Interests
Outside of school, I enjoy going to the gym, reading Young Adult literature, social media, playing video games, and spending time with my dog, Vanilla (an 85-pound pitbull).
