One of my deepest passions in life is teaching and helping students unlock their potential! I work to inspire students to love science and math or, at the very least, find them a little less daunting. I have experience working with children, teens, and young adults. I think every student has enormous potential and insight. I know that not every approach will work for every student, which is why I am committed to treating every student as an individual. Academics was and is a hard-fought battle for me, so I know and remember the challenges students might be facing. I earned two degrees from the University of South Carolina one in physics and one in psychology. I am currently working on my master's in physics at the University of Calgary where I have the amazing opportunity to be a teaching assistant. Through that opportunity, I have helped students engage with science through labs, projects, and other academic work; it has been a tremendously rewarding experience. When I am not doing science, I love participating in community theatre or doing one of my many hobbies!
