Learning should include examples of how you apply learning to life. I have taught all grade levels and most subjects. I find students learn best when motivated by meaning and applicability. I believe in active learning. When teaching, my philosophy is to embed thinking skills and common sense modeling, to teach students how to utilize resources and problem solve.

I love to read and do jigsaw puzzles. I also like to ride horses and go hiking! Creating works of art is a passion of mine!
