I received my Bachelor in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus in English Language Arts and Reading. Since graduation, I have earned my ESOL and Reading Certifications added onto my teaching degree. As a tutor, the most passionate subjects that I have taught the last 15 years as an educator; they are Reading and Writing, focusing on ESOL students and Intensive Reading students. I am a "firm, fair, and friendly," educator, that the 'student' will enjoy and eventually learn new reading strategies within my lessons. This will help improve the student's reading and writing scores at the end of the year assessments.

Many of my hobbies is to play board games with my husband and son. Since my son has a disability, we always like to go swimming ,because it is therapy for my son, as well for myself. Enjoying the beautiful flowers and fauna that are outside; living in Florida. It is always an "Adventure" when we are together as a family!
