I have taught kindergarten and third grade and I am currently a STEM teacher, working with students in Kindergarten to 5th grade. I have a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a master's degree in Reading Education (K-12). Although I love working with elementary school students, I am most passionate about helping students learn to read. I love being a part of the success and triumph students feel when the words on the page finally make sense!

Right now, my main hobby seems to be driving my youngest daughter to swim practice and swim meets. After that, I love to learn about science, especially animals and outer space. I also love to read every day even if it is only for a few minutes.
