About Me
I also have a Master's Degree in Literacy from Loyola University Maryland. I taught first and second grade for a combined 6 years in Baltimore City before moving to New Jersey and teaching 6th grade ELA. I have a passion for teaching the foundational skills of reading including phonemic awareness and phonics, as well as higher level comprehension skills. In my free time I enjoy spending time outside, especially with a good book in my hand!
