I was a high school math teacher for 22 years before transitioning to an assistant principal. As a teacher, I have taught Algebra, Geometry, Algebra 2, Precalculus, and AP Calculus. I continue to assist students with learning math by tutoring after school. As an educator I take pride in building a positive relationship with students to build their confidence in math. I hold a bachelors and masters degree mathematics education from Grand Valley State University.

I enjoy hiking with my wife and golf with friends. I have coached softball, football and wrestling. I enjoy traveling and beach life.
