As an educator with 14 years of experience, I am passionate about helping students build confidence, develop strong academic skills, and discover their potential. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in English, a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing, and a Ph.D. in Education with a specialization in Curriculum and Teaching. For more than a decade, I taught high school English Language Arts, specializing in critical reading, literary analysis, expository writing, persuasive writing, and effective communication skills. I have successfully prepared students for the STAAR English I and English II End-of-Course exams, helping many achieve passing and advanced scores through targeted instruction, proven strategies, and personalized support. I believe every student can succeed when provided with encouragement, effective instruction, and meaningful support.
