About Me
Graduated (James Scholar Honors) from the University of Illinois in Engineering Physics and have a Masters in Physics from the same institution. Retiring from industry 2008 I began teaching part-time at the local community college and have been doing so ever since, teaching passionately physics and math. During my career in industry, I had become interested in display monitor technology for education and worked leading to development of high-definition display screens. I hold 22 issued patents and many peer reviewed publications. We formed a small company which has produced display products for over 30 years and did joint Research and Development internationally.
Hobbies & Interests
Love to bicycle and work on technology projects. OTHER ACTIVITIES include Member MMA, SID, IEEE, University of Illinois Fencing team, Boy Scouts of America Rank of Eagle, God and Country Award, summer camp staff, and High School Band. Married, five children, oldest son graduated Ohio State sociology, 2nd son graduated Ohio State engineering, 3rd son graduated American Academy for Dramatic Arts actor, 4th son career US Navy, and daughter at Bowling Green State University in music composition. I play piano and guitar; but the children do it better. We had two drummers, piano, trumpet, and saxophone.
