Many of the students I have worked with have not had an easy experience with math. Math can be easy if you take the correct approach to the subject. Each student is at a different point in their math career and the concepts they have learned. Meeting them halfway allows me to help fill in the gaps they need to be successful with their current concept. I like the feeling that when a student walks away after a tutoring session they use the skills they learned to help find success.
