About Me

I am a graduate of Central Connecticut State University with a Bachelor's degree in Music and an experienced tutor across many subject areas, with a strong concentration in elementary reading and math. I bring over five years of tutoring experience and hold a High-Impact Tutoring Certification from Arizona State University (earned November 2025). I tailor each session to a student's unique learning style using interactive activities, structured practice, and individualized pacing to build confidence and mastery. Helping students achieve meaningful "aha" moments and measurable progress is what drives my passion for tutoring. Outside of teaching, I enjoy music, reading, traveling, movies, and yoga, which help me connect with students and create an engaging, supportive learning environment.
