About Me
I am currently a junior undergraduate student at New York University on a premed track studying Spanish, with minors in Chemistry and Psychology. I have been tutoring since high school mostly focusing on math (geometry/algebra 1&2) and Spanish classes (beginners Spanish 1 up through AP Spanish Lang). I also currently work as a preschool teacher's assistant through Jumpstart for Young Children. I am comfortable teaching all topics but have a special interest in math/science classes, given my strong academic background in these subjects (college level Biology/Chemistry/Organic Chemistry/Physics/Calculus) and Spanish given my professional fluency and AP exam success. I am confident I can use my experience to demystify even the most difficult topics and simplify my lessons to make sure my students do not make some of the same mistakes I did. My teaching philosophy centers on flexibility and catering each lesson to the students I am teaching. I have experience with both learning and teaching on Zoom and know how difficult it can be to maintain focus, so I am willing to use a variety of academic resources to make sure I am meeting every individual student's needs. I have experience working with kids from ages 3-17 and I look forward to working with you!
Hobbies & Interests
My interests include running, cooking, playing/watching soccer, and exploring NYC!!
