I am a graduate from the University of Maryland: Baltimore County, and I received my degree in Geography and Environmental Science, which is fun stuff like geology and hurricane studies. I was a tutor for 2 years at my university, and I got lots of experience with figuring out individual learning styles and different ways to approach education. I love being able to teach science and math the most because they have a reputation for being really difficult, and I love breaking down concepts into bite-sized components that are easier to think about. I find students are able to excel much more when they're given time to be able to break down content and thoroughly explore how and why it works.

I love to cook and bake because it's a great way to share joy with other people and you always get to eat something when you're done. I also love to sew and embroider and generally make lots of little crafts and knick-knacks. A much more recent hobby I've gotten into is playing badminton at a local rec center, though I'm not very good at it yet.
