I've published four collections of original short fiction, with a fifth coming in 2024. I also serve as an adjunct professor of fiction writing and introduction to creative writing, where I teach to classrooms of students and where I also advise students in a 1:1 capacity on their capstone writing projects. I love it. I love writing and I love, love, love to teach. Interacting with my students, helping them grow and learn about writing and helping them find their unique voices as writers is a tremendous pleasure. It feels like important work to me, and I take it really seriously. I think everybody has something unique and important to say via writing. Whether that person hates to write and is doing it only for an assignment or is incredibly passionate about it. It's what makes me most excited to tutor!

I love to write, especially fiction and creative nonfiction. I love to read too, novels and short stories especially. But, I also love to traipse through the woods with my fishing rod and find new spots in wild creeks with lots of fish in them.
