Math has always been my favorite subject, and combined with my thorough enjoyment of passing that excitement on to others, has sparked my interest in teaching. I have been teaching for over 30 years, both classroom and online with 1 to 1. I am most experienced in teaching algebra 1 and 2. I try to relate the topic to everyday life to show how useful mathematics is in helping us to solve life's problems. I teach for that moment when the light comes on in the student's eyes, showing that I have succeeded in helping that student understand the concept.

I collect Lionel trains I play pickleball and tennis I enjoy traveling to visit other cultures and historic sites I enjoy kayaking I especially enjoy being with the grand kids!
