I received my Bachelor of Arts in Human Family Studies, in which I then received my add-on Teacher Licensure through East Carolina University. Previously before that, I taught Pre-K for 20 years. At our school, I tutor Kindergarten students in reading and Math two times a week, to help get them where they need to be. While I tutor math and reading, I am most passionate about reading. In my experience helping struggling students prepare for Standardized Tests, and know that just that extra boost can truly make an impact on them. I am a true believer that all students can learn, all children learn differently and it is our job to make sure that we learn the best way to teach them what they need to know for the years ahead of them.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading books, spending time with my children, and just taking long walks with my dogs.
