About Me

I am a graduate of Barry University's, School of Education, located in Miami Shores, Florida. I received my Bachelor of Science degree from Florida International University. Since graduation, I have been employed as an elementary school teacher in my community. This experience has included tutoring children of immigrants; teaching adults in looking to improve their English (as I am an endorsed ESOL instructor). While I have taught my elementary students all subjects, I am most passionate about mathematics, reading and English. I am a firm proponent of education, believing it to be a fundamental cornerstone for an improved quality of life, in a democratic society. In my extra time, I enjoy reading about daily news, events and playing video games.
