Morgan
- I graduated from Warner University with my Bachelor of Arts in Educational Studies.
- After graduation, I was a 5th grade ELA teacher and a Reading and Math Interventionist.
About Me
As an Interventionist, I worked with Kindergarten through 8th grade focusing on phonics, reading, and math. While I tutor broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about reading and math. My favorite subject being reading because as a child, I struggled with reading comprehension myself. I feel that because of my personal struggle, I can connect with students and help them strategize and understand stories and their reading skills. I have also learned as an adult to love reading. I strive to foster, within my students, that same love for reading. I am a firm believer in education, particularly the pragmatist approach. I believe it allows learners the knowledge of experiential learning and practical use for their future. Our world revolves around technology and this philosophy adapts learners to technology as it changes.
Hobbies & Interests
I love spending time with my four-year-old daughter. We enjoy anything outdoors, going to the play park, theme parks, or the zoo. We also love lake days! On my own time, I love to read a good mystery book.
