I have tutored in-person and online several times over the past 13 years, taught 3rd grade and 10th grade in public schools, and worked with homeschooling students. I currently homeschool my own children and have three different tutoring jobs, where I tutor elementary math, ELA, and science as well as high school essay editing. While it is incredibly difficult to select just one favorite subject to tutor, I would say that I most ELA because I absolutely love literature and essay writing! I believe the best way to teach or tutor students is through deep, meaningful conversation and asking them thought-provoking questions.
