About Me

Hi there! I'm Ms. Pattion, and I love helping primary and upper elementary learners build confidence in reading, math, writing, and social-emotional skills. With over 20 years of experience in public school settings, tutoring, virtual teaching, and academic intervention, I have supported PreK5th grade students at many learning levels. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and a Master's degree in Instructional Design. My teaching style is patient, structured, encouraging, and interactive. I use the "I do, We do, You do" approach to model skills, guide practice, and help students become more independent learners, thinkers, problem-solvers, and confident readers. When I'm not tutoring, I enjoy designing reading escape rooms for 3rd5th graders, creating web-based reading and math games for PreK2nd grade learners, and playing logic or strategy games.
