About Me

With a background in Computer Science and a passion for teaching, I've dedicated 8 years to tutoring Math and Music Theory. My journey started in high school, where I thrived in math and began helping friends and family, which deepened my own understanding. I graduated from Grove City College, attaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. This educational background has highlighted my problem-solving skills, which I apply to make complex concepts accessible and engaging. I've taught everything from basic arithmetic to advanced calculus and from elementary music theory to College Level Music Theory. My teaching approach is student-centered and collaborative, focusing on breaking down problems step-by-step and encouraging critical thinking. By tailoring my methods to each student's needs, I aim to transform learning into an enjoyable experience and inspire a genuine interest in the subject. Outside of academics, I'm passionate about music and sports, playing several instruments and participating in many tournaments in sports. These interests reflect my belief in a well-rounded approach to education and personal growth. My goal is to make a positive impact on my students' lives and foster a love for learning.
