As a professional with master's degrees in English Literature and Education, I have dedicated my nearly 20-year teaching career to ensuring students achieve their goals and are proud of the results. I have taught students from middle school through graduate school various subjects from reading remediation and algebra to humanities and writing. I am passionate about providing a collaborative, constructive experience by encouraging observation, questioning, and action. I have also spent time developing assessments and help students approach standardized tests with a perspective based on knowledge and the skill of testing.

I like to explore the many trails around the Washington D.C. metro area in my free time. You might find me walking, running, and biking the trails throughout the year. If I'm not outside, you might find me at a museum or concert in the area. Inside or out, there's always fun to be had.
