I hold a certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language and an online teaching certificate from the International TEFL Academy. I currently work for a local nonprofit and teach refugees from Afghanistan, Cuba, Iraq, and Ukraine. I also teach and tutor ESL students in grammar, reading, writing, listening, conversational English. I work hard to include all my students in each lesson at my non-profit work. As a tutor for K-12 students, I have over 1.5 years of experience. I have tutored ELA, reading, and more. I use research-based methods.
