I also have a MEd degree from Lamar University. My career consisted of 30 years teaching middle and high school math classes, serving as the high school testing coordinator and middle school assistant principal. Several years were spent coaching girls sports at the middle school and high school level. During this time I have taught all levels of math classes as well as all levels of students. I understand students learn from different types of instruction, different types of environments and sometimes lots of patience. As an educator I have taught other topics besides math. I always build on what the student already knows about the topic. If very little is known, then we explore and create a base of knowledge.

I enjoy spending my time outdoors, reading, traveling and yoga.
