About Me

I received my Bachelor's, Master's, and Ed.S. from Tennessee Technological University. I have worked as a tutor within the chemistry department at TTU for two and a half years, and I have taught chemistry as an educator for eight years. My passion is to help my students reach their full academic potential to become knowledgable, active citizens. I have experience tutoring college-level General Chemistry I and II as well as high school level Chemistry I and II. I also enjoy working with students that are enrolled in physical science because it exposes me to other topics outside of general chemistry. One of my key strengths is providing students with multiple ways to solve problems. Not every student learns through the same modalities as their peers, and this helps my students be successful when it comes to problem solving and increases their higher-order thinking skills.
