About Me
As a graduate of the University of Michigan with a BA in Public Policy, I bring both academic expertise and a passion for learning to my tutoring approach. Over the past 10 years, I've had the privilege of working with students of all ages, from K-12, helping them unlock their potential in subjects like social studies, history, government, and the social sciences. This approach allows students to grasp the core principles of a subject, making it easier to retain information and understand its broader implications. I'm particularly passionate about the writing process, and I enjoy guiding students through every stage, from brainstorming ideas to polishing their final drafts. Traveling and experiencing different cultures since my graduation has also broadened my perspective, helping me better understand how global issues shape our world. Above all, I love fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel confident to ask questions, explore ideas, and grow as critical thinkers.
Hobbies & Interests
I love reading, travel, animals big and small, graphic design, and immersing myself in nature. I have traveled to over 20 countries, and most recently solo-backpacked through the Balkan region!
