I have been teaching for 22 years. I have been a case manager for the foster care system and I was a foster parent for 4 years. All students are unique in their own way; therefore, they learn in a different way at a different pace. I've taught general education; however, my world has been in ESE. Being an ESE educator enabled me to know how to differentiate and have strategies at a drop of the hat for my students to use. Knowing what a student needs and how to deliver that service comes easy to me. I am currently in my last steps to becoming an administrator, so tutoring helps me stay more connected to classrooms, students, and teachers. I love and believe that we (i.e., parents, students, myself and others) are a team and work together to assist in the success of positive successful student learning.

I believe I am a creative person. I love crafting, reading, horseback riding and traveling. I enjoy working with children and seniors. My family is by far my most favorite interest.
