About Me

I'm Eric Laine, an educator with a B.A. in Asian Studies from Saint John's University, where I focused on Teaching ESL and Chinese. With over ten years of teaching and tutoring experience, I specialize in Adult ESL/ELL, English for elementary and middle school students, and public speaking. I focus on creating a supportive, engaging space where students can build confidence and stay curious. I tailor each lesson to the student using stories, games, and real-life examples to make learning meaningful and fun. As a language learner myself, I enjoy working with students from all backgrounds and see every session as a chance to grow and learn together.
