I graduated with a Bachelor's in Education from Texas Woman's University. I am currently working on my masters in Special Education focusing in Dyslexia at Midwestern State University. I have worked with students in pre-k through 7th grade. I taught 4th grade math and science in Lewisville ISD and 2nd grade at a charter school called Founders Classical Academy. I have also tutored students pre-k through 7th grade for the last year. I continue to study and grow in my own knowledge and education to beter support students in every way I can. I tutor in every subject for elementary ages, however, my strongest tutoring subjects are math and reading. I strongly believe that every student is cabable of becoming great at every subject! I use hands on and visual strategies as well as real world examples to help students understand not just the how, but the why of every problem and skill. I look forward to working with you!

I love to read and write. I also crochet and draw. And my weekends are often spent camping, hiking, or stargazing. I also enjoy watching a good game of baseball or softball.
