As Head Tutor of my college's Writing Center, I worked with a diverse set of students with different backgrounds, interests, skills, and personalities. I believe that effective tutoring is a conversation, where building rapport is essential to creating a supportive learning environment. In every tutoring session, I help the student develop their own ideas, process, and style that will extend beyond just our sessions. I look forward to bringing my expertise in English, creative and academic writing, and critical thinking to help students discover their potential. I'm so excited to continue tutoring!

I'm a huge fan of 70s rock, science fiction books and movies, swimming, traveling, and learning about history. I love to journal every morning with my iced coffee, and end my day with a walk outside!
